President Ranil Wickramasinghe has appointed new members for the National Procurement Commission and the Finance Commission.
It is based on the recommendations of the Constituent Assembly.
Accordingly, Mrs. W Sudharma Karunaratne has been appointed as the Chairperson of the National Procurement Commission. Varnakulasuriya Ivan Thisera, DA Piyasiri Daranagama, Sumandhiran Sinnakandu, AG Pubudu Asanga Gunawamsa have been appointed as other members of this commission.
Mr. Sumith Abeysinghe has been appointed as the Chairman of the Finance Commission. Thuan Naleen Osen and Mayan Vamadevan have been appointed as other committee members.
