A suspect was arrested yesterday (18) with 60460 drug capsules (34 kg) which are used as an alternative/overdose by heroin addicts, which were carefully concealed in hair dye packages and brought to Sri Lanka from India.
According to information received by the Police Narcotics Bureau, it was during an inspection at the airport passenger terminal.
The suspect is a resident of Digana, Rajawella area.
The Police Narcotics Bureau is carrying out further investigations.
