The International Monetary Fund has announced that the Executive Committee of the International Monetary Fund has approved Sri Lanka’s program under the Extended Credit Facility.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe has issued an announcement expressing his gratitude.
The government says that this program will enable Sri Lanka to get financial facilities of up to 7 billion US dollars from the International Monetary Fund, international financial institutions and multilateral organizations.
