According to Kirulapana police, a thief entered a businessman’s house in Balahenamulla Lane, Kirulapana, yesterday (27th) and took away more than Rs. 6.8 million in cash and gold.
Investigations have revealed that the iron grill installed on a window in the house’s living room was removed, and the burglar entered the house in the early morning hours.
Rs. 5.171 million in cash and Rs. 1.68 million worth of gold items were stolen from the cupboard in a room of the house.
