The Seeduwa Police have arrested an employee of the Seeduwa Municipal Council who was distilling illegal liquor in a swamp adjacent to the Colombo – Katunayake highway.
This suspect was arrested in the area known as Mookalangamuwa during a special operation carried out by a team of Seeduwa Police officers yesterday evening.
The police have also seized 06 barrels containing 12,688 Goda drams.
