The Ahangama Police say that the thieves have break-in into the Thombuwa Walawwa in Kathaluwa, Ahangama.
Mr. Meriyan Jayawardena, a Senior Lecturer at Ruhunu University’s Faculty of Medicine, has complained to the police.
The Ahangama Police say that the thieves entered the Thombuwa Walawwa in a time between the 19th and the 22nd of February.
In this regard, Senior Lecturer Mr. Marian Jayawardena has complained to the police and stated that Rs. 40,000 in cash and Rs. 1,350,000 worth of gold items were stolen from the cupboard of the Walawwa.
