It is reported that a group of student monks and university students who forcibly broke into the Ministry of Education located in Battaramulla Isurupaya have started a protest at this moment near the office of the Minister of Education.
It is also reported that the protestors, who entered the Isurupaya building by force from the main gate, entered the third floor about half an hour ago and are protesting near the premises where the office of the Minister of Education is located.
Although it is not clear what the protesters’ demands are, it is also reported that heavy police security has been deployed to suppress them.
