Sepal Amarasinghe, a social activist, has unconditionally apologized in open court for making insulting statements about the sacred Tooth Relic.
After this apology, the Colombo Magistrate Court has decided to end the proceedings related to it.
According to the complaints received regarding the insulting statements made by Sepal Amarasinghe, he was arrested and remanded in custody.
