It has been decided to postpone the debate on the second reading of the Election Expenses Regulation Bill by a month.
This decision was taken taking into consideration the requests made by the members present when the Ministerial Advisory Committee on Justice, Prison Affairs and Constitutional Reforms (Dr.) Wijayadasa Rajapaksa met in Parliament yesterday (17).
Also, after considering the relevant amendments, the committee also approved debating the bill for the second reading of the Rehabilitation Bureau.
Accordingly, the Rehabilitation Bureau Bill is scheduled to be debated today (18) for adoption in Parliament.
