The Cabinet has approved the implementation of a cost-reflective electricity tariff formula effective from January this year.
The Minister of Power and Energy Mr. Kanchana Wijesekera said that the cabinet also approved the revision of the general policy guidelines for the power and energy industry.
This approval was received in the Cabinet meeting held this afternoon.
