Ranjan Jayalal, convenor of the United Trade Union Front of CEB, says that if the decision to increase the electricity tariffs is presented to the Cabinet, which is being held today (2), the union will take strict union action without further notice from tomorrow.
He mentioned that the trade unions of the Ceylon Electricity Board have already discussed the next steps to be taken if the government decides to increase the electricity tariffs.
