Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena announced to Parliament today (19) the new members nominated by the Selection Committee to serve in the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE), the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA) and the Committee on Government Finance.
Accordingly, Members of Parliament Mr. Dayasiri Jayasekara and Mr. (Major) Sudarshana Denipitiya have been nominated to serve in the Committee on Public Enterprises (COPE).
Also, the Speaker announced the names of Parliamentarians Mr. Prasanna Ranaweera and Mr. Velu Kumar to serve in the Committee on Public Accounts (COPA).
The Speaker also announced that Members of Parliament (Dr.) Nalaka Godaheva and Mr. U. K. Sumith Udukumbura has been nominated for the COPA.
