The Habaraduwa Police found a dead body of a woman with her lower body naked on a rock on a deserted land in Rumassala Kulunu Kanda yesterday (05).
It is not clear who the woman is.
A senior police officer said that a person who was said to have been travelling with the woman has been identified.
The police say that it appears that the death took place a few days ago and her underwear was found nearby.
The Habaraduwa Police say that the cause of her death can be definitively confirmed after a post-mortem examination and before that the person who died has to be identified.
