Officers of the Presidential Security Division have arrested a drug addict who entered the Presidential Palace in Nuwara Eliya last night.
During the inspection, 160 mg of heroin was found in his possession by the presidential guards.
The suspect is 25-year-old Harsha Dushyanta. The police say that he is a resident of Ambepura, Kalukele, Nuwara Eliya.
It is suspected that this person has entered the Presidential Palace for a theft. The Nuwara Eliya Police are conducting investigations in this regard.
