A senior security officer of the airport was arrested today by the officers of the Customs Narcotics Control Division who tried to take out of the airport 08 golden biscuits weighing one kilo each, which are suspected to have been brought by an Indian flight passenger who came to Sri Lanka from Dubai.
This security officer, who is a resident of Kelaniya, is 40 years old.
The Customs Narcotics Control Division stated that the security officer had hidden the stock of gold biscuits in his trouser pocket and was arrested while trying to pass the customs terminal.
