The police found 04 hand grenades and 05 T56 live ammunition in the Ulhitiya lake in Girandurukotte yesterday.
A senior police officer said that a farmer who saw these bombs in the part of the lake where the water had drained away due to severe sunny weather told the police about it and accordingly the police went there and took the bombs into their custody.
