Mr. Vijitha Herath, a former chairman of the Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation, Litro Gas Company and the Electricity Board, has joined the ‘Nidahasa Janatha Sabha’ led by Mr. Dallas Alahapperuma.
It is reported that he, who was also the chairman of the ‘Podujana Engineru Peramuna’ affiliated to the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna, has left all the responsibilities of that party and joined the Dullas team.
Accordingly, It is stated that MPs including Dullas Alahapperuma, G. L. Peiris, Charita Herath met Mr. Vijitha Herath yesterday (19) at the office of the ‘Nidahasa Janatha Sabha’ in Nawala, and expressed their support.
