    Shortage of medicines for another 3 months

    According to the Sri Lanka Pharmacists Association, the shortage of medicines in the country will continue for another 03 months.

    Its Chairman, Pharmacist Kapila de Soyza said that the health authorities stated in a discussion held yesterday that the government agencies do not have enough money to buy drugs and that the government should work to buy the drugs needed by the country through emergency purchases.

    Pharmacist Kapila de Soysa added that the best thing to do at this moment is to be careful not to fall victim to diseases in view of the current situation.
