President Ranil Wickremesinghe met the British High Commissioner Mrs. Sarah Hulton and came to the British High Commissioner’s office this morning (11) and expressed his condolences for the death of Queen Elizabeth II.
Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe who came to the High Commission office was received by the British High Commissioner.
Then Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe wrote a condolence note in the special memorial book placed there and appreciated the great service rendered by Queen Elizabeth II for the people of the world for 07 decades.
President Ranil Wickramasinghe is also scheduled to attend the funeral ceremony of Queen Elizabeth II which will be held at Westminster Abbey in London on the 19th.
What good will it do ? Better save the money and use it to buy food stuff to our people
