A petition has been submitted to the Court of Appeal against Mr. Sanath Nishantha, Member of Parliament, regarding contempt of court.
The petition was submitted by lawyer Mr. Priyalal Sirisena.
In his petition, he requests that MP Sanath Nishantha should be punished in this regard as he has made an insulting statement to the court.
