Solutions for graduates whose appointments have been delayed

Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena, Minister of State Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils and Local Government, says that while giving appointments to graduates, solutions will be provided to those who did not receive appointments due to various shortcomings.

The Prime Minister stated this in Parliament today (29) in response to a question asked by the Leader of the Opposition.

The opposition leader told that 461 people have not received appointments due to various shortcomings.

The Prime Minister said that the Ministry Secretary has already started discussions in this regard.

Honorable Deputy Speaker, the Leader of the Opposition mentioned the number of qualified persons who have not yet obtained tenure in the Departments under the Ministry of Public Administration. The Ministry Secretary has already started discussions on this issue. We hope to find a solution to it,” said Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena while further commenting.
