Based on several demands, a protest organized jointly by the health workers’ unions was held today (16) in front of the Colombo National Hospital.
The protest was held in order to force the government on a number of demands such as reducing the cost of living, providing recommended meals to patients, and stopping the payment reduction of health staff.
