Mr. Pasanda Yapa Abeywardena has taken over as the Chairman of Lanka Sathosa Institute today.
This event took place without ceremony today at Lanka Sathosa headquarters building.
He received his primary education from Matara Rahula Vidyalaya and his secondary education from Royal College Colombo. He has obtained a Diploma in Business Management, a Professional Accounting Degree, an Advanced Degree in International Business Administration from RMIT University in Australia and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Human Resource Management.
As a table tennis player, he is also a winner of Sri Lankan colors as the table tennis captain of the Royal College of Colombo and has won the first place in the Sri Lankan table tennis rankings for several years.
Mr. Pasanda Yapa Abeywardena works as a business development consultant and a member of the board of directors of several private institutions.
