The department stated that, accordingly, steps have been taken to give the fourth dose of the anti-coronavirus vaccine to prison inmates over 60 years of age.
Accordingly, in the first phase, Pfizer vaccine doses will be administered to the inmates of Welikada, Magazin, and Colombo remand prisons.
At present, necessary measures have been taken to give the third dose to the inmates who have not received any dose as well as the inmates who have received the second dose.
