A person infected with monkey flu has died in India.
The deceased is a young man from Thrissur district of Kerala state.
The twenty-two-year-old man came from the United Emirates a few days ago. He did not show any symptoms.
According to Indian media reports, three out of the six cases of monkey fever that have been reported from India so far are residents of Kerala.
