The police are seeking public assistance in identifying the suspects involved in breaking into President Ranil Wickramasinghe’s private residence, damaging the property and setting fire to it.
In the riotous and violent incidents that took place on the 9th, rioters entered the private house of President Ranil Wickramasinghe at No. 119, Fifth Lane, Colombo 03 at night and attacked, damaged it with fire and destroyed the property.
Investigations are being carried out by the Criminal Investigation Department to arrest the suspects in this regard.
The investigation teams want to confirm the identity of the people identified as the main suspects involved in causing these damages based on the close-up surveillance footage obtained in relation to this incident and the video footage obtained in relation to the investigation.
