A short while ago, a cab carrying four people, including an underworld criminal named Pas Podda, who was going to appear in a case pending in the Gampaha court, was shot near the court.
They were on the way to the Gampaha Municipal Council Stadium when the attack happens and all the four including Pas Podda were injured and admitted to the Gampaha Hospital.
The police say that the attack was carried out by a group of people who came from a Wagon R vehicle.
It has been found that this killing happened as a result of a conflict between two underworld gangs.
