The Colombo Crimes Division has taken steps to obtain a court order prohibiting Pathum Kerner to leave the country who is said to be an activist of the struggle.
It is related to the investigations related to brutally assaulting two army officers and stealing two firearms in the face of the protest at the Parliament entrance.
At present, other activists have also accused Mr. Pathum Kerner of calling the people to the place and creating a tense situation.
Sources revealed that the police is ready to obtain similar court orders for a few more people involved in the struggle in the future.
So far, the two stolen firearms have not been found. Two police teams of the Colombo Crime Division are conducting investigations to find the weapons.
