Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has sworn in as the new Acting President a few moments ago.
It is in front of the Chief Justice.
Mr. Ranil Wickramasinghe took the oath after Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena officially informed that President Gotabaya Rajapaksa had resigned from the office of President.
