The Association of Lottery Dealers says that they will withdraw from the sale of lotteries on the day after tomorrow (9), supporting the struggle to request the government led by the President and the Prime Minister to withdraw.
Its chairman Mr. Krishan Marambage says that this decision is taken as an action against the indifference shown to the lottery industry, which contributes to 5 ministries including the President’s Fund, the Mahapola Scholarship Fund, and the Ministry of Health and Agriculture.
Accordingly, he further mentioned that the lottery dealers and salesmen will withdraw from the sale on the day after tomorrow.
