The Fort Police arrested 09 people including former Member of Parliament Mrs. Hirunika Premachandra today.
That was when they came near the Clock Tower close to the President’s House and start protesting.
Among those arrested are 05 women and 04 men along with Mrs. Hirunika Premachandra, said Police Media Spokesman Senior Superintendent of Police Lawyer Mr. Nihal Talduwa.
