The Public Utilities Commission (PUC) has approved a request made by the Ministry of Education to allow school children to pursue online education from tomorrow (20).
Accordingly, it is reported that the Public Utilities Commission has instructed the Electricity Board to refrain from disconnecting electricity from 7 am to 12 noon for a week from tomorrow.
Accordingly, daily power cuts of 2 hours and 30 minutes will be carried out separately in the time slots from 12 noon to 10.30 pm for a week from tomorrow.
