The Samurdhi Department says that the program to provide financial assistance to low income earners will be implemented for 3 months.
Its Director General Bandula Thilakasiri said that under this, a family would receive a financial assistance of Rs. 5,000 to Rs. 7,500 for the three months May, June and July.
He added that the financial assistance will be provided with the assistance of the World Bank.
