The Examinations Department announces that the teacher who attempted to abuse a student at the GCE Ordinary Level Examination Center while performing invigilation duties at the Kaluwilasena Examination Center in Hidogama, Anuradhapura has been suspended from service.
Commissioner General of Examinations Mr. L.M. D. Dharmasena said that the Chief of the examination center had also been removed from his duties.
He said the assistant chief has been appointed to cover his work.
