It has been revealed in the suspect’s statements that while the girl was going to her house after buying meat from the shop, he had called the girl to the by-road and had prepared to harass her. According to a senior police official, his statements revealed that he had covered the girl’s mouth with his hand, picked her up, choked her head in the swamp, and killed her.
Accordingly, the girl had died due to drowning in the swamp. The postmortem examination has also revealed this.
The suspect said he did not get a chance to rape her. That’s because she’s starting to scream. According to the police, the post-mortem report also confirms that she was not abused.
