The Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) hopes to propose some essential amendments to the 21st Amendment to the Constitution, said its leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake.
Wijedasa Rajapaksa, Minister of Justice had submitted the draft to the Cabinet.
He thus presented the amendments expected to be submitted to that draft at a media briefing held today.
