The CID has taken steps to analyze the IGP’s telephones in connection with the investigation into the attack on the Galle Face protesters.
That was on the instructions of the Attorney General.
According to the CID, the IGP’s telephones are being used to verify the statements made by the IGP in connection with the incident.
