The Socialist Youth Union (SYU) is currently protesting in front of the police headquarters demanding the immediate arrest of those involved in the attack on the Galle Face protesters.
The protesting students have gathered chanting slogans protesting against even the police officers whose names are known to have aided and abetted the attack.
Police sources said that the main gate of the police headquarters was closed and police officers are gathered inside at the police headquarters.
