Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera has called on the public not to wait in line for fuel for the next three days.
That is until the distribution of fuel is completed to 1190 filling stations across the country.
A ship carrying a stock of diesel arrived in Sri Lanka yesterday.
Also, three more fuel tankers are scheduled to arrive in Sri Lanka in the next two weeks.
The Minister also said that adequate fuel is being supplied through the Indian Credit Line.
