This morning a group started to fire bullets at a house located on Yanthampalawa Road, Kurunegala which is owned by a businessman. He runs his hotel at the Kurunegala lake’s circular.
According to the Kurunegala Police, a car parked in front of the businessman’s house and the gate of the house were heavily shot several times.
Police suspect that there is a connection between the shooting of this businessman and the recent violence in Kurunegala.
