The Ceylon Petroleum Corporation’s Kurunegala Regional Officers have gone to the Narammala area in Kurunegala to conduct an investigation into the petrol shown in a video questioning the quality of the petrol which has become popular on social media.
Energy Minister Kanchana Wijesekera said the team had been sent to investigate.
According to the video, a fuel bowser had gone to a filling station in Narammala which was said to be substandard and the management of the filling station had refused to refuel after checking the quality of the fuel before refueling.
