It is reported that the Cabinet has approved the purchase of LP gas in Sri Lanka for a period of one year from Siam Gas Company of Thailand.
Accordingly, the new company’s gas price is lower than the previous Oman supplier’s gas by US $ 9 per metric ton.
In the future, the Thai company will supply 70% of Sri Lanka’s LP gas requirement per year.
