Two persons cameon a motorcycle had shot at a shop in Pethiyagoda, Kelaniya last evening and fled the scene.
The shooting was aimed at the shop owner. Peliyagoda Police stated that he was not harmed in the shooting.
Police have received information that the shooting was carried out by a group involved in a drug trade.
