The All Ceylon Banquet Hall and Catering Association has decided to increase wedding banquet hall renting charges by 40%.
Its chairman Athula Kaluarachchi says there will be a 20% increase in prices for orders which are currently received.
He added that this price increase was necessary to stay in the sector and continue this occupation.
