The United Ceylon Container Transport Vehicle Owners’ Association says that container freight rates will be increased by 65% from midnight today (20) due to the increase in fuel and spare parts prices.
Its chairman Sanath Manjula says the move comes in addition to rising fuel prices, the rise in the value of the dollar and rising spare parts prices.
