Landslide warnings have been issued for several areas in eight districts due to heavy rains.
The Disaster Management Center states that the warning will be valid from today until 1 pm tomorrow (11).
There is a possibility of landslides, landslides and rock falls and warnings have been issued for the following areas.
Padukka and Seethawaka in the Colombo District.
Agalawatta, Bulathsinhala, Dodangoda, Ingiriya, Matugama, Palindanuwara and Walallawita in the Kalutara District.
Badulla, Bandarawela, Ella, Haldummulla, Haliela and Welimada in the Badulla District.
Rivers Ihala Korale, Gangawata Korale and Udadumbara in Kandy District.
Bulathkohupitiya, Dehiowita, Deraniyagala, Ruwanwella, Warakapola and Yatiyantota in the Kegalle District.
Alawwa, Mawathagama, Narammala, Polgahawela and Rideegama in the Kurunegala District.
Laggala Pallegama, Matale, Rattota and Ukuwela in the Matale District.
Ambagamuwa, Kotmale and Walapane in the Nuwara Eliya District.
