According to Geetha Gopinath, Deputy Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has warned that the international financial system could be further disrupted in the future.
She told the news paper Financial Times, “The US dollar will continue to function as an internationally powerful currency, but there is a possibility of some breakdowns in the international financial system.”
