    No information on 129 Red notice recipients from SL Police in the Interpol website

    Although the Sri Lanka Police has obtained red notices for 133 criminals in Sri Lanka by the Interpol the International Police Website has published information on only four of them.

    The total number of Red notices published by the International Police Website to date is 7306.

    Among them are 08 Sri Lankans. However, there are four criminals who have issued red notices at the request of Sri Lanka.

    Two of the other perpetrators are wanted in India and the other two are wanted in Romania and Canada.

    As for the people wanted by Sri Lanka, Nadaraja Sivarajah is wanted in connection with aiding and abetting the assassination of Lakshman Kadirgamar, Wiknarasa Selvanthan is wanted for murders and robberies, Munisamy is wanted for possession of two hand grenades and 200 rounds of ammunition and an underworld criminal Kosgoda Suji for murder cases.

    Coomaraswamy Navanesan is the Sri Lankan wanted by Romania. They wants him for murder charges. Canada wants a man named Manikkavasagar Raja. He too is facing murder charges. One of the two people India needs is Mohamed Powmi. India wants him for charges on money laundering, and the other is Kumarasami Navaneethan. India wants him in connection with criminal conspiracy under the provisions of the Terrorism Act.

    None of the other red warrants issued have been named on the International Police website.
