The government has decided to purchase 6,000 metric tons of diesel from Lanka IOC.
Minister Gamini Lokuge says that these will be used for essential services and power generation.
The diesel ship under the Indian loan facility will also arrive in Sri Lanka tomorrow, the Minister said.
