A protest was held in Chilaw last night (05) against the current fuel crisis.
Three-wheeler drivers in Chilaw also participated in the protest organized by the Samagi Balawegaya party.
Protesters lit torches and then marched around the city.
Former Puttalam District Parliamentarian Shantha Abeysekera and Chilaw Mayor Thushan Abeysekera also joined the protest.
